1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tanzania Safari Trip website and the safari, trekking, and travel services we offer. By browsing this site, submitting an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book with us.

2. Quotes and bookings

Website prices and itineraries are indicative and may change with season, park fees, fuel, exchange rates, group size, and availability. A booking is confirmed only after we send written confirmation and any required deposit or payment is received according to the payment schedule in your quote.

3. Payments

Deposit and balance amounts, due dates, and accepted payment methods are stated in your quotation or invoice. Late payment may result in cancellation of reserved services. Bank charges and currency conversion fees are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellations and changes

Client cancellations must be notified in writing. Cancellation charges depend on how close the cancellation is to departure and on supplier policies (lodges, flights, parks). We will outline the applicable scale in your quote. Changes requested by you (dates, parks, accommodation level) are subject to availability and may change the price. We are not responsible for costs arising from flight delays, missed connections, or changes outside our control.

5. Travel documents and fitness

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, and meeting any entry requirements for Tanzania and other countries on your itinerary. You confirm that you are medically fit for the activities booked. Please tell us about mobility needs, allergies, or medical conditions that may affect the trip so we can advise accordingly.

6. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance (including medical evacuation and trip cancellation) is strongly recommended and may be required for certain activities such as Kilimanjaro trekking.

7. Park fees and third-party services

National park fees, crater service charges, and similar government levies are set by authorities and can change without notice. We book accommodations, flights, and activities in good faith; those suppliers have their own terms. We are not liable for failings of independent third parties beyond our reasonable control.

8. Itinerary flexibility

Wildlife viewing and road conditions are never guaranteed. Guides may adjust daily routing for safety, weather, park rules, or better game viewing. Such changes are part of safari travel and do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

9. Liability

We take reasonable care in planning and delivering our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, illness, death, or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to weather, wildlife encounters, political events, strikes, or supplier failure), or from your failure to follow guide instructions or travel advice. Our total liability related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

10. Website use

Content on this website is for general information. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, post unlawful or harmful material, or use our branding without permission. All site content remains our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith negotiation; failing that, courts in Tanzania shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country provide otherwise.
